On a hilltop amidst Paso Robles wine country lies Croad Vineyards. It is surrounded by breathtaking views of the Templeton Gap, and situated in an incredible micro-climate, ideal for producing exceptional wines. The tasting fee is $10 per person and the winery specializes with their Zinfandel, although they have a wide array of other varietals including Grenache, Mourvedre, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Red, Bordeaux, or Red Rhone blends.
The winery is built with mission-style architecture blended with a New Zealand influence to bring a completely unique ambiance and experience. The tasting room is stylish and is adjoined by indoor and outdoor picnic areas. Croad Vineyards is pet-friendly, there is RV parking, and vineyard and winery tours are available.
The winery is equipped with special event facilities and is a beautiful romantic setting for weddings. They also offer booking for private tours and barrel tasting with their own winemaker and owner. This is a one-on-one unique experience set in their barrel room, which includes light appetizers, wine tasting, barrel sampling, and wine making. Private events can also be organized.
